My Fascination with wildlife began as a young boy growing up in Western Nebraska. I developed a great fondness for wildlife. I
began working as a rancher until I landed a dream job at a game preserve. With this position I was able to work and study the animals
I have grown to love through my daily hands on experiences.
Amazed by the beauty and variety of wildlife in Cody, Wyoming, in 1988 I decided this is where I want to
call home. For years I spent countless hours in the mountains on foot and horseback, observing, experiencing and just taking
in nature. Adventuring out in the wilderness and putting myself in their environment, made it possible for me to capture the
true anatomy of these magnificent creatures I would soon carve in wood.
I found that God blessed me with the ability to create with my hands, what my eyes and mind see. I have a history of great
achievements winning many “Best of Shows” “ People’s Choice” and “Presidents Choice awards.” In 1996 I also published my first
book “Carving Trophy Deer and Elk”.
Today I am a self-taught Sculptor Artist who takes great pride in the fact I am able to sculpt any subject any size, and I am always
welcoming new challenges. For 21 years all my pieces have started as original wood carvings. I thrive off taking a simple
block of wood and turning it into a life-like masterpiece. It has only been since 1995, I began casting a select few into limited
edition bronzes.
